PORTLAND – In addition to winning the Busch North Series Championship, Brad Leighton was awarded the Most Popular Driver Award Saturday night at the 14th annual Busch North Series, NASCAR Touring Awards banquet. Leighton was chosen for the award by the NASCAR membership.

Leighton received the $7,500 Gatorade Front Runner Award for race leadership.
