Two summoned in Wal-Mart theft

A Bangor Wal-Mart employee reported two individuals stole several items from the store on Saturday evening.

According to Officer James Hussard, John York, the store’s loss prevention employee, followed Nastassja Nichols, 18, and a juvenile, both of Dexter, into the parking lot and brought them back into the store. York reported he discovered the two had two silver rings, a necklace, two pairs of thong underwear and a white bra, valued at approximately $24 total.

Both Nichols and the juvenile were summoned for theft.

A tan 2000 Dodge Neon was reported stolen from the parking lot of the Irving on Odlin Road.

Nicholas Eastman of Bangor said he had parked the car outside of the store and left it unlocked and running. A man described as white and bald with a dark beard and wearing a blue jacket got into the car and drove away.

The store clerk said the suspect was acting strangely in the store. A store security tape showed the incident.

The vehicle is registered in Maine with plate numbers 4281 MG.

Three Bangor women left Russell’s Entertainment Complex on Saturday night less three cell phones, three credit cards and $240 in cash.

The women said money, credit cards and cell phones had been stolen from their purses while they left them unattended at the establishment.

One said $100 and a Sony Erickson cell phone had been stolen. Another reported that $40, a Visa credit card, a Capital One credit card, a Sears Card and a Samsung cell phone had been taken. The third woman reported $100 and a Sanyo cell phone had been stolen.

Club staff believed the suspects might have been two men sitting near the group. One of the men wore a black hat with a white stripe, and the other man had a darker complexion and wore a tan and white hat.
