The cocaine, valued at more than $2.3 billion, was the result of five drug interdiction operations conducted alongside the guided-missile frigate U.S.S. Crommelin. One of the interdictions in September seized 30,000 pounds of cocaine, the largest seizure in the history of drug-fighting operations.
