Nelson gets LMS win at Unity

UNITY – Steve Nelson of Albion survived a multi-car wreck then held off defending champion Matt Lee of Albion Saturday night to win the late model sportsman feature at Unity Raceway.

Nelson overtook Lee late in the race to take the checkers. George Fernald took third.

Gahan wins Beech Ridge feature

SCARBOROUGH – Former open-wheel champion Bobby Gahan of Barrington, N.H., grabbed the lead after a spinout scattered the 25-car field on the start and motored to his first late model pro series feature victory Saturday night at Beech Ridge Speedway.

Rookie Mike Field of Buxton finished second while Barry Babb of Windham took third.
