ORONO – The University of Maine men’s basketball squad will team up with Toys for Tots on Saturday at the Maine vs. Michigan women’s basketball game. Men’s basketball team members will join representatives from the Marine Corps to collect donated items. The Marine Corps will distribute the items to those in need.

Members of the men’s basketball team will be at Alfond Arena from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday. Fans coming to the game are encouraged to take part in the event by bringing an unwrapped item to the game.

Tickets are available for the game and can be ordered by calling 581-BEAR or 1-800-756-TEAM. Ticket office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
