Moran’s effort lifts Hampden past Nokomis

NEWPORT – Pat Moran scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds Thursday night to propel Hampden Academy to an 80-54 Class A boys basketball victory over Nokomis.

Blaine Meehan scored 14 points for Hampden and Josh McNutt had 12 points.

Ben Thew and Evan McDaniel each scored 10 points for the Warriors.
