Recent workplace homicides in Maine

. Jeffrey Rainey, a father and store clerk at Olympia Sports in Portland, was stabbed to death by a shoplifter on Dec. 1, 2002.

. Nunzi Mancini, 38, a taxi driver from Portland, was shot to death by a Portland man he drove to Pittsfield on Feb. 11, 2002.

. Donna Leen, a 62-year-old taxi driver from Bangor, was beaten with a hammer by a rider on Oct. 13, 2001.

. Victor Zuniga, a migrant worker from Bercel, Mexico, was stabbed to death by a fellow migrant worker after a day of raking blueberries on Aug. 15, 1998, in Township 19 in Washington County.

. Patricia Crowley, a Hampden woman employed at Bangor Travel agency, was shot three times by her husband, James Crowley, while she was working on Jan. 9, 1989. James Crowley then turned the gun on himself.
