Jeremy Kervin

Unity College men’s basketball player Jeremy Kervin was named the SCAA Division II Player of the Week. Kervin averaged 30.23 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists for the Rams last week.

Eileen Flaherty

Bowdoin College women’s basketball player Eileen Flaherty was honored as the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Week. Flaherty averaged 25 points, seven rebounds, and three steals for the Polar Bears. She also had a season high 32 points against Colby College.

Katie McCabe

Katie McCabe of Colby College was awarded the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Rookie of the Week. It’s McCabe’s fifth rookie of the week honor. She had 24 points and seven rebounds against Bowdoin.

Bartas Samaitis

Senior center as the University of Maine at Fort Kent, Bartas Samaitis, was named the Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Week. Samaitis averaged 28.5 points and 11.5 rebounds as the Bengals won two games on the road.
