Basic training

LAWTON, Okla. – Army Pfc. Mathew Ramisch has graduated from basic military training at Fort Sill.

A 2001 graduate of Hermon High School, he is the son of Gloria and Wiley Ramisch of Hermon.

GREAT LAKES, Ill. – Navy Seaman Kurt Calligan recently completed U.S. Navy basic training and was promoted to his current rank at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

A 2000 graduate of Hermon High School, Calligan is the son of Deborah and Bernard Calligan of Hermon.

Deployment

FORT POLK, La. – Army Spec. Sean Kraft of Bangor, a medic, has been deployed to Iraq.

The son of Victor and Kristy Kraft of Bangor, Kraft is a 1999 graduate of Bangor High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine. He is also a graduate of U.S. Army Medic School at Fort Sam Houston.
