Eileen Flaherty, Melissa Sawyer

Flaherty of Bowdoin College and Sawyer of UM-Farmington were named the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s Co-Players of the Week. Flaherty averaged 23 points per game in a 2-0 Polar Bears week while Sawyer scored nine points in a North Atlantic Conference win over Maine Maritime.

A freshman at Bates College, Barton earned MWBCA Rookie of the Week honors. She averaged 10 points per game as the Bobcats went 3-0 last week.
