LIMESTONE – Anna Haller and Julie Peers each scored seven points in the third quarter as the Limestone Eagles pulled ahead to upset Ashland 50-48 in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Haller finished with 17 points, Peers contributed 14, and Lindsey Beaulieu added a dozen for Limestone/Maine School for Science and Mathematics.
Ashley Nemer scored 14 points, Mindy Chasse 12, and Whitney Flint nine for the Hornets, who had a game-tying shot at the end spin out.

At Hodgdon on Thursday night, Drew Farrar led all scorers with 25 points for the Greater Houlton Christian Academy Eagles, who withstood a late rally by Hodgdon.
Travis Bartley had 12 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Guy also scored 12, Jordan Quint added 11, and Evan Carter had 12 rebounds and six blocks for the Hawks.
Silas Kelley scored 16 points for the Eagles.
