Rob Stockwell

Bates College sophomore guard Rob Stockwell was named the NESCAC Men’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week with Tufts’ Dan Martin. Stockwell scored 27 points with four rebounds and three steals to help Bates to a 76-73 win over Williams. In overtime, he hit the game-winning three-pointer as time expired.

Heather DeVito

Colby College senior forward Heather DeVito was honored as the NESCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week. DeVito had three goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for the Mules and helped lead Colby to a NESCAC playoff berth.

Sara Ricker

A senior guard for the UMaine-Machias, Sara Ricker has been named Sunrise Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. She scored 26 points, including six in overtime, in the Clipper’s win over Lyndon State.

Joel Davila

Freshman Joe Davila of the UMaine-Machias Clippers has been named Sunrise Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week. He led UMM to a win over Lyndon State with 21 points.

Michelle Gott

Maine Maritime’s Michelle Gott was named North Atlantic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. She scored 20 points and pulled down six rebounds in a 58-46 loss to Bowdoin. Then over the weekend, she netted 20 points against Becker and 18 points against Elms.

Heather DeVito

Colby College’s Heather DeVito was honored as New England Small College Athletic Conference Women’s Hockey Player of the Week. The senior forward and tri-captain had three goals and two assists in the Mule’s 2-0 week. She is first for the Mules in scoring this season with 16 goals and seven assists.

Trey Gadbois

A member of the University of Southern Maine men’s indoor track and field team, Trey Gadbois earned Little East Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week. This is Gadbois forth consecutive LEC weekly honor. He led the Huskies this weekend placing second in the high jump with a mark of 1.96 meters and third in the triple jump with a leap of 13.88 meters.

Melissa Bellemore

Sophomore Melissa Bellemore of the University of Southern Maine women’s indoor track and field team, was named Little East Conference Women’s Field Athlete of the Week. She placed first in the pole vault this weekend, establishing a personal-best mark by clearing 3.35 meters, She also took fifth in the long jump with a leap of 5.06 meters.
