ALTON – The annual town meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at the Municipal Building.

Items on the agenda include votes on appropriating $22,353 from property tax for a firetruck payment; $25,000 from excise tax for refuse account; and $9,350 from surplus for the municipal parking lot pavement.

One member will be elected for a one-year term to the school board, two members will be elected for two three-year terms as selectmen, and a clerk, treasurer and tax collector will be elected to fill one-year terms.
