HODGDON – Chelsea Collier struck out 16 while scattering six hits and Amanda Charette drove in four runs with a double and a single as Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook upended Hodgdon 17-4 in a schoolgirl softball game Saturday.
Collier, who walked seven, aided her own cause with three singles; Audrey Charette doubled and singled and Jordan Sholler had three singles and two RBIs.
Sara Brewer homered, tripled and singled for Hodgdon and knocked in three runs. Amanda Scott contributed two singles.

At Hodgdon, Adam Anderson and Travis Brooker combined on a one-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts as the Warriors of Dyer Brook rolled in the mutual opener.
Anderson no-hit the Hawks through the first three innings, striking out all nine hitters.
He also drove in four runs with a triple, double and two singles.
Brooker, who pitched the final two innings, added three singles.
Evan McGary had two doubles and Jeff Boutlier a single, triple and two RBIs for SAHS.
Tom Duff singled for Hodgdon’s lone hit.
