The first of five boxing cards, presented by Josh MacAuliffe Boxing, will be held at the Sports Arena in Bangor Saturday night. The bouts will feature local boxers as well as fighters from all across New England and Canada. The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the bouts will begin at 8.

The bouts are sanctioned by the State of Maine and a portion of the profits will go to support amateur boxing. The other fight nights will be held on June 11, July 9, Aug. 13 and Sept. 10.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. They are available at the Sports Arena at 1640 Hammond Street.
