FORT KENT – The American Council of Snowmobile Associations has named Gary and Pauline Dumond, owners of Fort Kent Ski-Doo, the American Snowmobile Dealer of the Year.

The Dumonds were recognized for both the quality of their dealership operations and for their commitment and support of snowmobilers and snowmobile clubs in Maine. The Dumonds participate in activities including trail grooming and membership recruitment for the Maine Snowmobile Association. The award was presented June 9 in Itasca, Ill.

The Dumonds also were recognized by the Maine Snowmobile Association in April when their business was named Maine Dealer of the Year. The MSA nominated the couple for the national award.
