Central Maine’s economic outlook will get an assist from Brian Hamel, the former developer of the Loring Air Force Base property in Limestone. “Today begins the next chapter in improving our town’s economy,” said Norman Dean, Madison town manager. “Hamel enterprises will augment our development efforts of the past several years, and I believe his expertise, passion and commitment to excellence will put us over the top.” Hamel recently formed the consulting company. He was a congressional candidate last year.
