MACHIAS – A benefit dinner is planned next week at a local restaurant.

Helen’s Restaurant will be the scene of “A Candlelight Dinner-Theatre” on Thursday, June 21, and Saturday, June 23.

Participants will be able to participate in a four-course meal, and entertainment will be presented by the Downriver Theater Company, including excerpts from the musical “Man of La Mancha.”

Tickets are $25 and net proceeds will go to the Down East Community Hospital Endowment Fund.
