Jay Myers of Gorham will serve as a volunteer athletic trainer at the Lake Placid, New York, Olympic Training Center this summer.

Myers has worked for two years at the University of Southern Maine’s Sports Medicine Department and will work with the athletes training for the Winter Games.

The Gorham native holds a master’s degree, is Athletic Trainer Certified and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
