MADAWASKA – A motorcyclist was treated at a Fort Kent hospital and released Sunday night after he went off Gagnon Road in Madawaska.
Anthony Levesque, 21, of Madawaska suffered only minor injuries after he lost control of his 2001 Honda motorcycle.
Madawaska Police Chief Ronald Pelletier said Levesque lost control in a sharp curve at the intersection of Gagnon and Aspen roads. The motorcycle ran off the road and into the brush.
Levesque was taken to Northern Maine Medical Center by ambulance. Police said he was complaining of pain. They did not know the extent of his injuries.
Police estimated that the motorcycle had about $800 damage.
Pelletier said there was no indication of speed involved, and no charges are pending in the incident.
