LEOMINSTER, Mass. – Bucksport Fastpitch, an 18-and-under team made up of some of the top high school talent in the area, finished fifth out of 17 teams in an Amateur Softball Association (ASA) New England regional tourney this weekend. Bucksport, the state Class A 18-and-under ASA champion, went 3-2 in the tournament.

Team members are Brittni Adams (Bucksport), Jill Richards (Bucksport), Sarah DeFillip (Brewer), Jen Higgins (Old Town), Terren Hall (Bucksport), Katie Hutchins (Portland), Erin Porter (Bangor), Deanna Michaud (Stearns), Katie Hurd (Bucksport), Kate Turner (Bangor), Lauren Overlock (Belfast), and Anna Corey (Brewer).
