Bangor cruises to 12th win

BANGOR – Bangor racked up 15 hits en route to a 15-0 victory over Lincoln in American Legion baseball action Tuesday night at Mansfield Stadium.

Josh Young had two singles and plated two runs for Bangor. Jordan Heath chipped in with a triple and single while Brian Hackett added two singles and a double.

Josh Seeley doubled and singled for Lincoln.

At Calais, Steve Colbeth belted a two-run, first-inning home run to lead the Calais Suns by Hampden.

Jeff Ramsdell added an RBI single in the fifth inning for Calais. Aaron Sullivan doubled and scored and Anthony Lewey doubled.

Joel Neill and Billy Bart both singled and scored a run for Hampden and Chris Pease doubled.

At Brewer, Corey Cushing slapped a two-run single to key a four-run first inning burst as the Falcons rolled to win number 17.

Pat Moran collected a three-run homer and an RBI double for Brewer. Andrew Patterson had three singles and an RBI.

Miles Davee hit an RBI single for the Wildcats and Matt Nickerson tripled and singled.

At Husson College’s Winkin Complex in Bangor, Perry Anston hit a grand slam to highlight a six-run fifth inning for the Patriots.

Hunter Caron had two singles and an RBI while Spencer King doubled, singled and drove in a run.

Josh Pelletier hit an RBI double for the Navigators.

Aerus 10, Woodman’s 2

At Hermon, Mark Farnham allowed just two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five through five innings to lead Aerus Electrolux to victory.

Brook Sturtevant hit a two-run double for Aerus Electrolux. Farnham and Dan Gage both had two singles and two RBIs.

Jimmy Shea and Billy Baker each hit RBI singles for Woodman’s.
