Conservation camp
Thanks to the generosity of the Penobscot County Conservation Association, the Maine Conservation School in Bryant Pond has a limited number of camp scholarships available to young people in Penobscot County.
The scholarships will make it possible for a student to attend one week of conservation camp for as little as $50. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Campers may choose Junior Explorer, Natural Explorer or Conservation Camp programs. The camp season runs until Aug. 26. To learn more, call 234-4151.
