Bangor stays alive, wins 5-4

MARIETTA, Ga. – Katie Porter went to third on a bunt and scored via an infield error on Lindsay Stevenson’s grounder in the top of the eighth as Bangor edged the North Georgia Bulldogs of Athens, Ga., 5-4 at the ASA Softball East National Tournament Thursday.

Bangor eliminated the Bulldogs in the double-elimination tournament and advances to play at 4 p.m. today.
