PITTSFIELD – Caitlyn Hynes’ unassisted goal in the second overtime lifted the Rockland Tigers to 2-1 high school field hockey win over the Maine Institute Huskies Tuesday.
Dana Clark scored the first goal, with an assist from Amanda Burns, in the first half. Caley Bacan had 13 saves for 1-3 Rockland.
MCI’s Ellen Wagner scored the equalizer with 6:26 left in the second half. Courtney Howe stopped 13 shots for the 1-3 Huskies.
Belfast 4, Mount View 0
At Thorndike, Britt Cummings knocked in two goals while Kallie Aldus contributed a goal plus an assist as the Lions rolled.
Brooke Reed added a goal while Kelsey Jackson and Skye Ellis added assists for 4-0 Belfast. Liz Anderson stopped all four shots she faced.
Carrie Beveridge stopped nine out of 13 shots for the 2-2 Mustangs.

Winslow 3, Camden Hills 2
At Rockport, Winslow scored three goals in the final 14:20 of the second half to rally from a 2-0 deficit.
After a scoreless first half, Camden Hills took a 2-0 lead as Marianne Croce scored on an Erika Blauth assist and Kate Fetterman scored on a feed from Melly Ford.
But Winslow closed within 2-1 on a Nicole Lombardi goal, and Krista Quirion scored the tying goal with 9:45 left and the game-winner with 6:39 to play. Ali Krigel had two assists for the Black Raiders.
Dale Winsper made 10 saves on 13 shots for 2-2 Camden Hills. Emma Walters made three saves on five shots for 1-3 Winslow.
Dexter 3, Bangor 1
At Dexter, Nicci Burton, Vanessa Hartford, and Ashley Wakefield each had an unassisted goal for the Tigers in the win.
Katie Porrier made one save on two shots for Dexter.
Erin Johnson scored unassisted for Bangor. Sarah Frisk stopped 11 out of 20 shots.

At Newport, Traci Underhill registered one goal and two assists to lead the Red Devils to the win.
Rachel Trafton and Beth Dauphinee added a goal each for 4-1 Central of Corinth. Kara Voisine stopped all nine shots she faced.
Jackie Flie recorded 10 saves on 13 shots for the 0-4 Warriors.

At Orono, Amy Collinsworth scored one goal and assisted on two others as the Minutemen of Millinocket prevailed.
Mikaela Rosebush and Felicia Achorn notched a goal apiece for 4-0 Stearns. Deanna Michaud made seven saves on 12 shots.
Emily Sypher scored off a pass from Maridawn Lamb for the 1-4 Red Riots. Kristine Kitteridge stopped six of 12 shots.

Ellsworth 1, MDI 1 (2OT)
At Ellsworth, Ben Young scored unassisted midway through the second half for the Trojans and neither team scored the rest of the way.
Max Blanford made 12 saves on 16 shots for MDI, now 1-2-1.
Demetrios Katsiaficas notched an unassisted goal for the 1-0-2 Eagles. Cory Smith had three saves on five shots.

Bangor Christian 7, DI-S 1
At Bangor, Ignacio Bostos scored two goals and added two assists to lead the Patriots by the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners.
Brock Bradford chipped in with two goals for the 3-0 Pats while Justin Phinney, Shane Murphy and Josh Griffin had one apiece. Dan Dorman notched an assist and Josh Frost made nine saves on 10 shots.
For 1-2 DI-S, Miles Douglas scored a goal and Rob Brown and Eben Powers combined for 15 saves on 24 shots.
Piscataquis 1, Schenck 1 (2OT)
At Guilford, Kerry Thompson scored with 28 minutes remaining to tie the game for Schenck of East Millinocket.
Mike Wharf had scored with 34:38 left in the second to give the Pirates the lead.
Ryan Martell had 15 saves on 16 shots for 2-2-1 PCHS while Lanny Thompson stopped 26 of 27 shots for the 1-2-1 Wolverines.

At the Taft Street field in Bangor, Rosaire Veilliux popped in two goals and added three assists to pace the Sabers.
Eric Kreitz contributed two goals, Luke Thomas and Jacob Thomas had a goal and an assist each, and Beau Miller, Nate Colby, Joe Abou-Joade, and Tim Arbo posted a goal apiece for 2-1 Calvary Chapel Christian School of Orrington.
Arbo started in goal and made one save on one shot, and John Pomelow made four saves on four shots.
Goalkeepers Stefan Rowe and Andrew Richards combined to make 15 saves on 25 shots for 0-1-1 Highview Christian of Charleston.
Old Town 4, Nokomis 3
At Newport, the Indians rolled to a 4-1 lead early in the second half paced by a pair of Nate Lonko goals, then held off a late Warrior surge.
David Martinez and Dylan Clark had the first two goals for 2-2 Old Town. Adam Malenfant and Hogan Marquis each posted a pair of assists.
Old Town goalkeeper Ethan Shanley had 18 saves on 22 shots.
Taso Petridis, Cody Johndro, and Corey Harding scored and Sam Wilson had an assist for 1-3 Nokomis. Wayne May made 18 saves on 24 shots.

At the Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center field on Mount Hope Avenue in Bangor, Nick Hubbard scored the winning goal with a pass from Patrick Kane with 31:52 remaining to propel the Crusaders to the win.
Chris Smith got his third shutout in four games with seven saves on seven shots for 3-0-1 John Bapst.
Josh Blaine stopped 15 of 16 shots for the 2-3 Hawks.

GSA 2, Bucksport 2 (2 OT)
At Blue Hill, Emily Peake scored two goals in the second half to tie the game with assists from Laura Overton and Winslow Brokow.
Kayla Eaton had 21 saves on 22 shots for 2-0-2 George Stevens Academy.
Emily Lenore scored in the second half along with Lindsay Gordon who was assisted by Terren Hall. Katie Hurd stopped 15 of 18 shots for 3-1-1 Bucksport.

At Monmouth, Cortney Barrett made five saves on six Madison shots to earn the shutout for the Mustangs.
Britney Hilton and Katie Woodman tallied a goal apiece for 1-1-2 Monmouth.
Ashley Marandola stopped nine out of 17 shots for the 1-3 Bulldogs.

At Orono, Lindsay Colbath, Shaylee Moulton and Kate Kirby each scored and had an assist.
Lauren Young added a goal while Heather Woodbrey and Brittany Pinkham combined for seven saves on 11 shots for 4-0-1 Orono.
Searsport’s April Pickering and Amanda Cheney combined for 14 saves on 20 shots for the 2-2 Vikings.
