EASTON – Erick Martinez scored the only goal of the game on a penalty kick into the left corner of the net with 15:46 left in the game as the Central Aroostook Panthers concluded their regular season with a 1-0 victory over the Easton Bears in schoolboy soccer action Thursday.
Shawn Walling made 17 saves on 20 shots for the 5-7 Panthers of Mars Hill.
Jeremy Brock saved 18 of 31 shots for the 10-5 Easton Bears.
Caribou 3, Fort Kent 2 (OT)
At Fort Kent, John Noyes’ unassisted goal with 1:55 left in overtime came as a result of a deflected cross which wound up in the net to give Caribou the victory.
Eamonn Harrigan and Kyle Corrigan each scored unassisted for the visiting Vikings. Ben Rosser saved 18 of 26 shots.
For the Warriors, Drek Bonenfant scored unassisted and Drew Blier scored on a Kelly Thibodeau assist. Matt Harvey made 15 saves on 22 shots.
JV: Caribou 3-0
Madawaska 7, Limestone 1
At Limestone, Tyler Levesque scored four goals and Matt Bosse had four assists to lead the Owls to their seventh win.
Dom Rossignol added a goal and an assist for 7-1-1 Madawaska, while Matt Beaulieu, Billy Roy and Paul Roy contributed goals and Adam Ouellette chipped in with an assist.
Joe Leighton scored an unassisted goal for Limestone/Maine School of Science and Mathematics.
Madawaska goalie Chad Bechard made two saves on four shots. A.J. Rossignol made 26 saves on 40 shots for 4-6 Limestone.
Fort Fairfield 6, Hodgdon 1
At Fort Fairfield, Billy Scull scored two goals and assisted another to help lead Fort Fairfield to victory.
Ryan Weatherbee, Brandon McLaughlin, Brian Andrews, and David Law each scored a goal for 7-2 Fort Fairfield. Brandon Doughty had an assist as Austin Dufour stopped three of four shots.
Seth Dorr scored an unassisted goal in the second half for 0-9 Hodgdon. Alex Harris made 14 saves on 23 shots.
Woodland 5, Calais 0
At Calais Wednesday, Brandon Tomah scored two goals and Jeremy Burke, Scott Boomer and Chad James each added one to lead the Dragons to victory.
Craig Moody made six saves on nine shots for 3-0 Woodland and Scott Geel made six saves on 10 shots for 3-1 Calais.

Easton 5, Central Aroostook 0
At Easton, Kassie Lovely had two goals and two assists as the Bears ended their regular season with a victory.
Lindsay White added two goals and one assist for 4-10 Easton, while Kendra Conroy had a goal and an assist and Michelle Osgood contributed an assist.
Briana White saved all 17 shots she faced for Easton, while Latisha Neece stopped 20 of 27 shots for 0-12 Central Aroostook of Mars Hill.
Madawaska 3, Limestone 2
At Limestone, Beth Gerard scored the winning goal on a Jamie Nadeau assist with 24:52 left to lead Madawaska past Limestone.
Gerard scored a first-half goal on a Sarah Nadeau assist for 8-0 Madawaska and Ashley D. Cyr added a goal. Liz LaPlante made seven saves on 12 shots.
Ellie Dunn scored a goal and had an assist for 7-3-1 Limestone. Julie Peers tied the game at two in the second half. Melanie Allen stopped eight of 12 shots.
Fort Fairfield 2, Hodgdon 0
At Fort Fairfield, Sadie Ayoob scored both goals as the Tigers bounced back from their first loss of the season with a win.
Ayoob scored 22:45 into the first half on a Keegan O’Neal assist, then added an unassisted goal with 51 seconds left in the match.
Lauren Beckwith made four saves on eight shots for 7-1-2 Fort Fairfield, while Heather London made six saves on 14 shots for 5-6 Hodgdon.
