UNITY – Chad McDuffie and Andy Pease netted two goals apiece to lead the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners to a 5-2 men’s soccer victory over the Unity College Rams Tuesday.

Ben Tourangeau added a goal and Josh Heath stopped two out of five shots for 5-3-1 Maine Maritime of Castine.

Daryl Aresco and John Corkus tallied a goal apiece for 5-3 Unity. Tyler Ferguson stopped 10 of 15 shots.

Women’s soccer

Colby 2, UNE 0

At Biddeford, Meggie Herlihy and Lauren Goethals each scored a goal to lead Colby by the University of New England.

Herlihy scored at the 36:07 mark in the first with a pass from Goethals. Goethals then put away a short range shot at 76:33 in the second.

Liz Benson had two saves for 4-1 Colby while Mallory Wilson saved a career-high 10 shots for 2-5 University of New England.
