WATERVILLE – New England Patriots running back Robert Edwards, who could return this season after missing the past two seasons due to an off-season knee injury, will be featured at the Central Maine Youth Football Clinic at Waterville’s George Mitchell School Field on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Edwards, who rushed for over 1,000 yards as a rookie in 1998, will be joined by Patriots tight end Jermaine Wiggins and defensive line coach Ray Hamilton, a former All-Pro with the Pats.
The clinic, which is for youngsters in grades 2-8, will be held on Friday 2-5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to noon.
The price is $10 per day and youngsters can pay at the gate.
