Fitchburg capitalized on an MMA turnover to take a 7-0 first-quarter lead on a 15-yard pass from Corey Hetherman to Bob Hirko. Ryan Miller made it 13-0 in the second quarter with a 1-yard run to cap a drive set up by another MMA fumble.

Colby took that lead on a first-quarter safety resulting from an errant center snap out of the end zone, and a 14-yard pass from Justin Smith to Roddy Ames.
