HERMON – Bangor’s Aaron Bragg slid by Milo’s Mike Beland on the inside with less than two laps to go and took the checkered flag in the pick-up truck feature at Wacky Wednesday at Speedway 95.
Bragg had forced Beland to go high in turn three on the 18th lap of the 20-lap race.
Skowhegan’s Ryan Jarvais was second and Hampden’s Dana Harlow finished third.
In the women’s little enduro class, Charney Badger of Milo triumphed followed by Carmel’s Debbie Luce and Lagrange’s April Lancaster.
Frankfort’s Cliff Knight won the little enduro feature followed by Frankfort’s Kevin Colson and Lagrange’s Joe Lancaster. In the little enduro double O race, Hermon’s Jason Phillips was victorious followed by Lancaster and Brownville’s Steve Heath.
The big enduro feature, like the little enduro feature, had the drivers race in the opposite direction.
Winterport’s Abel Leamer won the big enduro feature followed by Jeff Overlock Jr. of Hermon and Marty Lowell of Dover-Foxcroft. In the big enduro double O event, Hudson’s Micky McCullough crossed the finish line first followed by Lee’s Eric Worcester and Levant’s Joe Allen.
