HAMPDEN – Isabel Cravens scored off a throw-in from Courtney Reeves with 25:36 left in regulation as No. 7 Hampden topped No. 10 Mt. Blue 1-0 in an Eastern Maine Class A girls soccer prelim game Tuesday.
Michelle Wells had two saves on seven shots for the 12-2-1 Broncos while Caitlin Scott saved eight of 31 shots for the 6-7-2 Cougars of Farmington.
Class B
Bucksport 4, Rockland 0
At Bucksport, Lindsey Gordon scored twice to lead the No. 7 Golden Bucks to victory.
Paige Pelletier and Meg Lalonde each chipped in with a goal, while Sarah Robinson, Cassie Gourley and Brittni Adams recorded an assist apiece. Katie Hurd stopped two of five shots for 7-5-3 Bucksport.
Allie Todd made 23 saves on 31 shots for the 3-12 Tigers.
Medomak Valley 1, Caribou 0
At Waldoboro, Hannah Hoster scored the winning goal with 18:00 left in the game as No. 8 Medomak shut out No. 9 Caribou.
The goal was scored off a corner kick from Erin Sweeney. Alison Cornforth and Rachel Keefe combined for nine saves on 10 shots for the 8-6-1 Panthers.
Billie Martin made 17 saves on 22 shots, including a penalty kick, for the 4-9-1 Vikings.
Class C
Penobscot Valley 5, Sumner 0
At Howland, Ashley Dawson scored a hat trick in the first half and had an assist to lead No. 6 Penobscot Valley by No. 11 Sumner.
Jamie Milton added a goal with the assist from Dawson and Michelle Bowers scored on a penalty kick in the first half for the 9-5-1 winners.
Jen Plourde made two saves on six shots for the Howlers. Whitney Page had eight saves on 17 shots for 3-12 Sumner of East Sullivan.
Houlton 1, Narraguagus 0
At Harrington, No. 10 Houlton prevailed over No. 7 Narraguagus after outscoring the Knights 3-0 in penalty kicks.
Bethany Targonski made eight saves on 15 shots for the 5-10 Shiretowners while Samantha Baker saved 10 of 18 shots for the 7-6-2 Knights.
Class D
Washburn 2, Schenck 1
At Washburn, Alex Bird scored off a Tabitha Blakney pass 1:47 into the second overtime to lift No. 8 Washburn by No. 9 Schenck.
Blakney set up Bird with a nice lead pass and she blasted a shot from just above the 18-yard line and into the goal’s left corner. Jessica Drost scored a first-half goal for 9-5-1 Washburn with an assist from Bird. Amber Palmer made 10 saves on 17 shots.
Gabrielle Rioux scored unassisted 9:10 into the game for 8-7 Schenck of East Millinocket. Robin Larlee made seven saves on 18 shots.
Woodland 4, So. Aroostook 1
At Woodland, Heidi Sappier scored two goals and Gena Clark chipped in with a goal and an assist to carry the No. 6 Dragons by the No. 11 Southern Aroostook Warriors.
Lacey Gillespie added a goal for the 7-5-3 winners and Eryn Crowe had an assist. Cindy Bergin made nine saves on 14 shots.
Kim Grant scored an unassisted goal for 6-8-1 SAHS of Dyer Brook and Amanda Charette made nine saves on 38 shots.
Van Buren 6, DI-Stonington 1
At Van Buren, Megan Lajoie tallied three goals and an assist as the No. 5 Crusaders rolled to a win over the No. 12 Mariners.
Amber Martin and Taylor Parent both had a goal and an assist apiece for 5-5-5 Van Buren. Lindsay Lajoie added a goal and Lisa Levasseur stopped three of four shots.
Leti Douglass scored an unassisted goal for 2-12-1 Deer Isle-Stonington and Anika Powers made 18 saves on 32 shots.
Fort Fairfield 2, Shead 0
At Fort Fairfield, No. 7 Fort Fairfield scored early and late to eliminate No. 10 Shead of Eastport and advance to the quarterfinal round.
Sadie Ayoob scored 47 seconds into the game off an assist from Kerry Cunningham. Cunningham added the second goal with four minutes left when she converted a direct kick from about 20 yards out.
Lauren Beckwith made eight saves on eight shots for the 10-3-2 winners.
For 6-8-1 Shead, Dottie Pottle made 18 saves on 20 shots.

Class C
Stearns 3, Winthrop 1
At Millinocket, Amy Collinsworth scored all three goals for No. 3 Stearns in the win.
Felicia Achorn and Jamie Johnson added assists for the 11-4 Minutemen. Deanna Michaud had 12 saves on 13 shots.
Brittany Gaudet scored unassisted for No. 6 Winthrop, who finishes 9-6. Sarah Grampetro stopped 21 of 24 shots.
Dexter 1, Mattanawcook 0 (OT)
At Bangor, Jana Kenney scored the game-winning goal in overtime, leading No. 2 Dexter to victory over No. 7 Mattanawcook.
The goal was scored with 5:38 remaining off quick passes from Michelle Chapman and Vanessa Hartford.
Katie Poirier made four saves on five shots for the 11-3-1 Tigers. Sarah French had five saves on eight shots for the 5-9-1 Lynx of Lincoln.
Class B
Waterville 2, Foxcroft 0
At Waterville, Whitney Russo had a goal and an assist as the No. 3 Panthers topped the No. 6 Ponies.
Allie MacDonell added a goal for 11-3-1 Waterville and Kristen Tormollan had two saves.
Morgan Rice recorded six saves for Foxcroft, which finishes its season at 9-6.
