Just curious

At 80 years of age it never before occurred to me to wonder how hunters load their hunting trophies to carry them home. Your Section C, page 6 today (Oct. 18) has a picture of a man and his son, who bagged an 817-pound moose with an 18-point rack. Also, how did they determine the weight?

It just occurred to me, is it possible they weigh it on site? If so, how? Did they butcher it and add up the total weight of the parts and leave the entrails to fertilize the forest?

Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it also educates. All curiosity is not fatal.

The Yankees thought they had it made and would be the champs this year. But then the Angels came along and showed them they were wrong.

Yes, the day the Angels defeated the Yanks, it really made my day! And lots of others’, too.

The Red Sox lost out this year even though they played very well. But in the hearts of every Red Sox fan, they will always be our champs.
