GORHAM – Phil White had 18 points, 10 rebounds, and five steals to lead Husson College to a 73-71 men’s college basketball victory over Saint Joseph’s College to win The Maine Event tournament Friday.
Jason Harvey had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles, and Buddy Leavitt had 12 points and four blocks. Tyler Muzzy scored 12 points, and Scott Kissinger added 11.
Marcus Alexander led the Monks with 23 points and Noah LaRoche had 10.
