BANGOR – A Princeton man was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court to 19 months in prison on drug charges.
John Gagner, 27, of Princeton also was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and to serve three years of supervised release after he is released from federal prison.
Gagner pleaded guilty in September to three counts of possession with intent to distribute OxyContin.
He faced up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million.
Gagner was arrested in February and charged with purchasing OxyContin on three separate dates in 2004 from a confidential informant working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
