GLENBURN – Jill Irish smacked two doubles and a single and drove in two runs to lead Glenburn to a 14-10 win over Bangor West in a District 3 Little League Softball 11- and 12-year-old tournament game Thursday.
Erica Hanson pitched in with a double and two singles while Sarah York doubled and Megan Quintal and Cricket Munson rapped two singles each.
Stacey Gomm smacked a triple and a single to pace Bangor West. Jamie Parkhurst, Erica Tweedie and Danielle Wright notched a double and a single apiece.

At Old Town, Amanda Heath had four hits, including a three-run homer as Old Town won in 31/2 innings.
Lauren Kates hit two singles, a double and a triple while Holly Higgins and Danielle Richard had three singles each.
Micah Cyr had a pair of singles for Hermon.

At Milbridge, Calais took advantage of 14 Sunrise walks to roll to a District 1 victory.
Darcy Gillespie struck out eight and hit two doubles and a triple for Calais. Ashley Allen had a pair of doubles. Courtney Ayers knocked a triple and two singles.
Sierra Robinson singled for Sunrise’s lone hit.

At Hampden, Emily Heath’s two-run homer keyed a four-run first inning and Bangor East held off Hampden-Newburgh after that.
Katy MacDonald went the distance for the win, scattering six hits while striking out 12 and walking three. She also helped her own cause with a double and two singles good for three runs batted in.
Maureen Capehart knocked in three runs with a triple and a single; Heath had a single to go with her homer and Taylor Lauritsen contributed two singles and two RBIs.
Michelle Wells and Tara Utecht had two singles each for Hampden-Newburgh and Amanda Palmer had a two-run double.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Ben Davis smacked a two-run double in the second and Justin Phinney added an RBI single in the same inning to help Brewer to the District 3 win.
Kevin McAvoy added a triple and two singles for Brewer.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Bryan Berry tossed a seven-hitterand Lincoln scored eight runs over the game’s final three innings en route to the victory.
Jason Murchison and Levi Slike hit three singles apiece for Lincoln while Lance Springer and Cory Kimball added two singles each. Tony Jensen added an RBI double.
Josh Marcho doubled and knocked in two runs and Adam Aucoin pitched in with two singles for Old Town.

Silver, Jordan Heath, Anthony Derosa and Ricky Estes rapped two singles each for Bangor. Silver knocked in two runs.
