PRESQUE ISLE – Greg Cyr took a pass back to the point from Dylan Collins and rifled a slapshot into the upper righthand corner of the net 23 seconds into overtime to lift the Presque Isle Wildcats to a point-worthy 4-3 Class B hockey victory over the Houlton-Hodgdon Black Hawks Tuesday night.
Erik St. Peter scored two goals for Presque Isle (10-7) and Collins netted one. Brandon Daigle collected three assists and Brad Young posted one. Brendon Esquibel made 29 saves on 32 shots.
Jordan Gard scored the second of his two goals 7:08 into the third period to tie the game at 3-3. Morgan Hall tallied an unassisted goal for 14-3 Houlton-Hodgdon.
Josh McGuire, Sam Tweedie and Chris McGuire provided assists. Nic Joslyn made 17 saves on 21 shots.
