CASTINE – Maine Maritime Academy senior Don Thibodeau has been named ECAC Northeast Player of the Year for football, in addition to first team honors for the offensive team. The New England Football Conference Player of the Year led the Mariners to a 7-3 record, led the league in rushing with 1,531 yards, and scored a team high 15 touchdowns.
