HAMPDEN – Damon Bisacre of Bangor hit a hole-in-one on the par-3 second hole of Hampden Country Club on Thursday. He used a 6-iron for the 170-yard shot which was witnessed by Jim Milnes and Joe Burns.

ORRINGTON – Shawn Pearson of Bangor recorded the first hole-in-on in Rocky Knoll Country Club’s history.

Pearson aced the 160-yard, par-3, fifth hole, Thursday, using a five-wood.

Patty MacDougall of Bangor witnessed the shot.
