MACHAIS – The Washington County Soil and Water Conservation District will be coordinating a trout stocking program this spring.

Both rainbow and brook trout will be available for stocking private ponds.

Prices remain the same as last year.

A permit to stock trout is required and may be obtained from the Maine Department of Inland Fish and Wildlife. New five-year permits cost $10.
