COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Lisa Kuronya, a female welterweight who boxes out of the Portland Boxing Club, won the U.S. National Championship at the Olympic Training Center on Friday. Kuronya defeated Stefanie Taylor of Conoga Park, Calif., by unanimous decision. The win secures her a spot on the Elite Boxing Team, which will travel to Argentina in May.
