AUGUSTA – Authorities are investigating a fatal hunting incident involving minors in Norridgewock.

The incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, said Lt. Pat Dorian of the Maine Wardens Service. Because of the ages of those involved, no names are being released, he said.

Because it is an ongoing investigation, no additional details are being released, he said.

Maine State police are assisting in the investigation.

Norridgewock is about 25 miles north of Augusta.
