Police turn to community for help finding Sinclair teen

SINCLAIR – Anxious parents and the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department are turning to the public for information about a 15-year-old Sinclair girl who has been missing since Saturday afternoon.

Jessica Page, a student at Wisdom High School at St. Agatha, left home Saturday and has not been heard from since then. The girl reportedly left after having an argument with her mother, Kathryn Page.

She was last seen by people in Sinclair as she walked Saturday afternoon.

According to Deputy Sheriff Kris Malmborg, Page left home with just the clothes on her back. She was on foot. She did not tell anyone where she was going or if she was going to see someone.

She was described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 125 pounds, with blond, shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes. Police did not have a description of the clothing she was wearing.

Malmborg said she may be going to see her father, Andrew Page, in Virginia. Police contacted the father who said he had not heard from her.

Malmborg said she may have taken a bus, or tried to hitch a ride with a truck driver.

“It’s pretty wide open,” Malmborg said Tuesday afternoon. “We are looking for anyone with information, or who has seen her since she left home.”

Police have no idea who she might be with.

Anyone with information may contact the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department at (800) 432-7842.
