ORONO – Affiliated Healthcare Systems and the principals of Josco Partners, LLC, have announced the sale of Josco’s 50 percent interest in the Dirigo Pines Retirement Community in Orono to Affiliated, a subsidiary of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems.

Josco was the primary developer and manager of the retirement community since its inception. Joseph F. Hogan and Scott T. Johnson, principals at Josco, are credited with selection and acquisition of the Orono site, obtained environmental approvals for the project and provided oversight during construction.

EMHS Executive Vice President Ken Hews expressed gratitute to Johnson and Hogan for the dedication and diligence during the last eight years while pursuing and developing the retirement communtiy.

Johnson and Hogan will pursue other business and development interests. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
