Jen Dutremble of Biddeford High School has been named Gatorade’s Maine Softball Player of the Year.

Dutremble, a 5-foot-8 senior shortstop, is batting .556 with an on-base percentage of .750 and a .667 slugging percentage. She has been a varsity shortstop since her freshman season and received all-state honors as a sophomore. She also has earned varsity letters in basketball and field hockey.

Dutremble is not a finalist for the Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year.
