BREWER – Prentiss Swett slapped a bases-loaded two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Brewer Witches a key regular-season ending 3-2 high school baseball victory over Messalonskee Tuesday night.
Swett tripled earlier in the game and Corey Cushing had an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth for Brewer.
Eric Sucy and Ben Seel each had an RBI single for the Messalonskee Eagles of Oakland and Sloan Sidelinger doubled.
