WINTERPORT – Greg Young of Raymond held off Ellsworth’s Buddy Palmer to win Sunday’s Money Race at Winterport Dragway.

Young earned a trip to the money round by defeating Craig Cousins of Hermon in the Super Pro Eliminator finals.

Palmer downed Machias’ Don Joy in the Pro Eliminator finals to qualify for the Money Race.

Young picked up $400 with the win.
