AUGUSTA – A $2.125 million Megabucks lottery ticket was purchased in Maine, the Maine State Lottery announced Thursday.

The winning ticket from Wednesday night’s drawing was purchased at Highland Variety in Westbrook, which will receive a $21,250 bonus, the lottery said.

As of Thursday afternoon, the news had swept through Highland Variety, but no one knew who drew the winning ticket, said Tracey McComish, store manager.

The winning number was 3-14-26-28-34-37, Bonus 2.
