OLD TOWN – Jarrett Lukas hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning to get Orono started as the Twins held off the Hampden River Dogs 7-6 in American Legion baseball action Thursday.
Dusty Thomas hit two singles and knocked in two runs for the Twins and George Keefe hit an RBI single.
Dana Leland worked out of a bases-loaded, nobody-out jam in the seventh inning when he struck out two and got the last batter to fly out to end the game.
Tim Kenerson hit three singles for Hampden. Joel Neill and Cody Johndro had two singles and an RBI while Evan Farley and Patrick Stephens doubled.

At Blue Hill, Prentiss Swett drew a bases-loaded walk in the top of the sixth inning to score Rick Adams and lift Brewer to the win.
Kevin McAvoy hit two singles and a two-run home run for Brewer. Chris Maguire had three singles and two runs scord and Ben Davis singled twice.
Josh Astbury had two singles and two RBIs for Trenton. Andy Pooler, Cory Smith and Lucas Marks singled twice.

Calais, Lincoln split
At Lincoln, Jeff Ramsdell and Scott Geel both homered as Calais took the first game of a doubleheader from Lincoln 11-9. Lincoln won the nightcap 11-4.
In the first game, Ramsdell hit a solo homer to go with a two-run single while Geel had a two-run homer for the Suns.
Tyson Tash knocked a three-run homer and singled for the Lumber while Blaine Clark had two singles and two RBIs.
In the second game, Aaron Flannery doubled once and singled twice to knock in three runs for the Lumber.
Tyler Thompson had three singles and an RBI and Tash two singles and two RBIs.
Matt O’Brien had a pair of singles for Calais.

At Dover-Foxcroft, Tyler Miles drove in two runs with a single in the top of the eighth as the Wildcats prevailed in extra innings.
Ethan Jean had an RBI double and singled twice while Noah Burke notched an RBI single for the winners. Caleb Ashey added a double and a single.
Danny Beatham singled and hit an RBI double while Nick Lancisi slammed a solo homer to lead Penquis. Sam Bowers had an RBI single and Danny Kane a two-run single for the Navigators while Eric Day doubled and singled.
