BELLA VISTA, Ariz. – Maranacook High School baseball standout Greg Creek has been named to the National High School Baseball Coaches Association’s District 1 team.

District 1 includes New York and the six New England states.

Creek, who is going to play baseball for the University of Maine, batted .520 for Maranacook of Readfield and also had a 2.25 ERA. Creek was the recent recipient of the Dr. John Winkin Maine Mr. Baseball Award, given to the state’s best senior player.
