Maine gospel singer will perform at meeting

BANGOR – Diane Muise of Auburn will be the guest speaker and singer for the Christian Women’s Club Christmas in July meeting noon-2 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at the Spectacular Event Center, 395 Griffin Road, Bangor.

Muise speaks at many women’s groups and draws extensively on personal experience to communicate with her audience. She identifies with them in many areas – as the mother of three children, one gifted and one learning disabled; as a career woman with a busy schedule; as a caretaker for elderly parents; and as a woman struggling to live within a limited budget.

Muise is the author of “God Takes the Broken Pieces of Our Lives and Makes a Stained Glass Window.” She is a professional singer who tours extensively across the United States and Canada. She performs more than 150 concerts each year. A winner of numerous national awards for singing and songwriting, Muise has recorded nine solo albums in Nashville and a “Live” concert album in Auburn. Ten of her songs have been published in the songbook, “The Songs of Diane Muise.” She is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, the Gospel Music Association and the Southern Gospel Music Association.
